Cupsogue pavilion is back!
After more than 10 years, Cupsogue Beach County Park is getting its pavilion back. The original pavilion was destroyed by a fire in 2014, leaving visitors with temporary buildings and food trucks for over a decade.
The new pavilion will officially open in June and includes upgraded restrooms, food service areas and staff offices. A new restaurant, The Beach House, will serve seafood, burgers, hot dogs, and other beach favorites. The facility will also feature an outdoor bar, deck seating, and live music on nights and weekends.
The $8.75 million project gives the popular Westhampton beach park a fresh new look and improved services for visitors. Cupsogue Beach offers swimming, fishing, camping, and beach access, and this summer beachgoers can once again enjoy a permanent pavilion overlooking the ocean.
