4.0 Earthquake struck a Massachusetts’ coastline

 On Sunday morning, according to preliminary information from the US Geological Survey, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake struck near Bliss Corner, Massachusetts. The quake was felt more than 100 miles away, in Connecticut, New Hampshire and Smith Point Park, New York, on Long Island, some eyewitnesses reported.

Tropical Storm Isaias closes Smith Point, Cupsogue and Meschutt.

Due to Tropical Storm Isaias Suffolk County Beaches, Smith Point, Cupsogue and Meschutt, will be closed at 11 AM today, 8/4/20. Isaias was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm overnight.
