Finally, a nice and sunny weekend

After a couple of weekends of cloudy skies, rain, and cooler temperatures, Long Island finally enjoyed its first truly sunny and hot weekend of the year. Beaches, were filled with families and friends taking advantage of the beautiful weather. The warm temperatures and bright sunshine provided a welcome reminder that summer has officially, we hope, arrived. While more hot days are sure to come, this weekend felt like the unofficial kickoff to the 2026 summer season and offered a glimpse of what promises to be a fun and active summer ahead…
