2026 Rehoboth Beach Lifeguard Tournament

Lifeguards from New York to Virginia gathered in Rehoboth Beach on Wednesday, July 8, to compete in the 2026 U.S. Lifesaving Association Mid-Atlantic Lifeguard Championships. Hosted by the Rehoboth Beach Patrol at its headquarters on Baltimore Avenue and the Boardwalk, the competition began at 9:30 a.m.

The championships showcased the athleticism and lifesaving skills that professional lifeguards use every day to protect beachgoers.
