Meschutt’s 8th Annual Clambake

Meschutt’s annual Clambake was a great celebration of camaraderie, friendship, and teamwork, set against a backdrop of sun, sea, and sand. The event brought together rookies, seasoned lifeguards from both Smith Point and Meschutt beaches, and families. As the sun set, Captain Paul gave a brief toast to the friendships we’ve built and the collective spirit that makes us stronger. It was an an evening of fun, laughter, and delicious food. Doxsee’s chili was spectacular! As Ivonne, Tiki’s Joe’s first class chef, steamed the clams and the aroma of seafood filled the air, everyone gathered around the table ready to share stories, experiences, and meals. A big shoutout to Tiki Joe’s at Meschutt for being a superb host once again.
The atmosphere was one of unity and togetherness. Captain Paul Schmitt made sure that games and activities that encouraged teamwork and collaboration were included in tonight’s festivities. From friendly volleyball game to picking the “King and the Queen” of clamming, each moment was a testament to the strength of teamwork and the importance of supporting one another.
The Clambake wasn’t just about the food; it was a reminder of the values that bring us together—mutual respect, shared goals, and the joy of working as one. Congratulations to all, great food, great fun and it was a great evening!
