Patrick Scribner, a.k.a. ‘Scribs’ started his career at Smith Point back in 2006. He passed the grueling ocean test and began his journey as a Smith Point Lifeguard. He’s had so many dreams of moving up the ranks and becoming a lifelong lifeguard at the beach.
Scribs said: “My captains and peers at the time showed me hard work, dedication, and uplifting motivation of something I call discipline. I thank them for showing me the way and giving me the opportunity of this path in my life. Through my career I could only dream of being a senior captain and those dreams came true in 2015. Today something happened that I thought I could never dream of being… and that is being a part of the legendary crew of the Smith Point Lifeguard hall of fame. When I heard my name being called today I was in disbelief. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. You know who you are. Bleed Green”
Some of Scribs’ accomplishments:
Thirteen (13) time L.I. Champion
Sixteen (16) time National Finalist
2015 National Landline Champion
Crossfit Pioneer and Gym Owner – Crossfit Undertow
Elite competitor for over 16 years
Zero drownings under tenure
Congratulation Pat, well deserved.
