Junior Lifeguards 2023, week #3

This was our third week of Junior Lifeguard training. The surf was moderate with occasional 4 foot shore break. Our juniors did well and learned a thing or two about the Atlantic Ocean and safety. As always, our goal is to educate our Suffolk County Patrons and youth about ocean safety. Through ocean training, interaction and exploration, the Smith Point Junior Lifeguards gain: development of confidence, mental and physical fitness and respect for one another and the coastal environment.
