Junior Lifeguards 2023

Smith Point Junior lifeguard program is crucial for fostering a culture of water safety and instilling essential skills in young individuals. Our program will play a vital role in teaching children and teenagers the fundamentals of lifeguarding, including swimming techniques, rescue procedures, and first aid knowledge. By participating in our program, young individuals develop confidence, discipline, and teamwork skills while learning to prioritize the safety of themselves and others.

Smith Point junior lifeguard programs not only may create future lifeguards but also contribute to building a generation of responsible, knowledgeable individuals who can prevent accidents and save lives. Our program ensures a safer aquatic environment and empowers young people to become proactive guardians of water safety.

Times and Locations:

7/8/23, Meschutt Beach; Please arrive before 8:45 AM and sign in. JLP (junior lifeguard program) will run from 9 AM – 10 AM.

7/15/23, Meschutt Beach; Please arrive before 8:45 AM and sign in. JLP (junior lifeguard program) will run from 9 AM – 10 AM.

7/22/23, Smith Point Beach; Please arrive before 8:45 AM and sign in (Lifeguard office). JLP (junior lifeguard program) will run from 9 AM – 10 AM.

7/29/23, Smith Point Beach; Please arrive before 8:45 AM and sign in (Lifeguard office). JLP (junior lifeguard program) will run from 9 AM – 10 AM.

Class will cap at 25 junior lifeguards, sign up will on ‘first come fist serve’ basis.
