Tim Cabasino has earned the title of New York State Lifeguard of the Year through nearly two decades of elite performance, leadership, and lifesaving excellence. A Division 1 collegiate swimmer and 15-time Long Island Champion, Tim has demonstrated exceptional athleticism and dedication to the craft of lifesaving. He is a 4-time National Champion in both the Landline and Rescue Race, showcasing his skill and speed in high-pressure rescue scenarios. Competing on the world stage, Tim has represented the United States in four World Lifesaving Championships, standing among the top lifesavers globally. For 19 years, he has served as an elite competitor and reliable protector on the beach, with a flawless record—zero drownings during his tenure. Tim’s consistency, professionalism, and commitment to excellence make him not just a champion in the water, but a role model in the lifesaving community.
