Facing fierce competition from elite teams across Long Island, Smith Point rose to the challenge with strong performances throughout the tournament. The tournament opened with a grueling 2K beach run under hot, humid conditions, where runners pushed the pace early. The team continued their decent performance in the ocean with a fourth place finish in the distance swim and run-swim-run.

One of the most technical events, the landline rescue, saw Smith Point coming in second place between swimmers and shoreline pullers. Their board relay team kept momentum going, navigating through challenging surf with speed and precision. The 4 x 100 relay had a minor fumble, but came in second place.

The tournament concluded with the always-thrilling beach flags event, where Smith Point athletes proved their agility and explosive speed in the sand. Koch wins flags! … And Martin, Chase and Dylan all made the finals. Every point mattered, and thanks to their depth and determination across all events, Smith Point Boys Team earned the overall victory. Congratulations!
