Student Opportunity for Summer- Become a Lifeguard!
Tomorrow night is our LAST informational session for the 2024 season to learn about an exciting opportunity to become a Lifeguard! The session will take place on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 7:00 – 8:00pm at the Center Moriches Public Library. The Suffolk County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking Youth interested in summer employment at local pools and beaches.
You must have the following qualifications:
- Over 15 years old
- Athletic skills
- Previous swimming experience
I am very interested for my son who is in the 9th grade at Sayville HS he is 14.5 he turns 15 in November he has been on competitive swim teams for 2 years and now works out at YMCA with his swim buddies. Please contact me regarding best programs for his age of 14 we want something challenging and fun for the summer. We are a family if lifeguards yet I am from Rockville Centre and could really appreciate some guidance or referral for my son.
