Smith Point Lifeguards win the Battle of the Hamptons

Last year after the initial shut down and several local, State and National guidelines updates, it became clear early on that all competitions for the 2020 will be cancelled.
This past Thursday, July 22, at Main Beach in East Hampton after being canceled last year due to the pandemic excitement was truly in the air! The ‘Battle of the Hamptons’ lifeguard competition made its much anticipated return.
Teams from East Hampton, Town of Southampton, Town of East Hampton, Westhampton, Smith Point and several girls teams from above mentioned beaches made their debut on Thursday evening with spectacular and thrilling performances of lifesaving skills. Smith Point Men and Women both won! Congratulations!
