Ceremony for TWA Flight 800 victims canceled

Family and friends of those aboard have gathered on shore line of Smith Point Beach in Shirley on the east end of Fire Island to remember those lost during the TWA Flight 800 for the past 23 years.

The annual ceremony this year, however, due to the COIVD19 pandemic originally scheduled for Friday, was canceled.
