Smith Point and Cupsogue to open Friday before the Memorial Day Weekend.

Governor Cuomo announced Friday that state and local beaches statewide will be able to reopen the Friday before Memorial Day, with a 50%-capacity rule and other measures in place to avoid a resurgence of the virus. Counties and municipalities can opt to keep beaches closed, the governor said.

Please adhere and follow Smith Point and Cupsogue parks’ rules and regulations and remember… Always swim near a lifeguard.
