Smith Point Bridge will be CLOSED

Smith Point Bridge will be CLOSED 7-9AM this Sunday, August 4, 2019, for the annual Smith Point Triathlon. No cars to cross over the bridge and no tall ships to cross under.

The Smith Point Triathlon starts at Smith Point County Park, with a fast 500 meter Narrow Bay swim and continues on to a flat and fast 16K bike ride over the Smith Point Bridge to Wertheim National Refuge and back, followed by a scenic 5K run over the bridge ending at the Atlantic Ocean.
