  • Hi there,

I have been a beach lifeguard previously in my home country New Zealand for several years, and recently I took the Jones beach life guarding test. Unfortunately I did not meet the qualifying time for the 100 yards, I was unable to dive at the time and got 1:19.17 which is over the 1:15 limit.

The test coach recommended I apply here. I’m 25, have good stamina with running and open water swims, can preform 25 yard cross chest well, but am a bit slower then the average bear round these parts. I have a bit of open water experience over most of them however, and am mainly seeking to work weekends whenever as I am a full time prosthetics design engineer.

I have a lifeguard cert for any pool in the city, experience with jet skis and capsized boats in water training, also have my Boatus Certification for boats and jets skis etc in NY –

Please contact me as I would love the opportunity to be of service and enjoy working as a lifeguard, I hope I can continue doing it on this side of the planet !

    Cheers,

    Alex
