We are pleased to announce the re-launch of our Smith Point Lifeguards website! After a few weeks of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the re-launch on Friday, July 28, 2017. We would like to especially thank our super smart and crafty guy Mike Newell. He was able to rid the site of malware and other hiccups.
Mike Newell joined the Smith Point Ocean Rescue Team in the summer of 2010, he is now in his 7th summer as a Smith Point Lifeguard. Mike graduated from SUNY Oneonta in May of 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is currently working for Team Logic IT and business lens doing web programming and data analytics as well. (He still works at Smith Point as a lifeguard on weekends.) Mike also creates and designs websites on the side for small businesses and high school sports teams.
