FREE SMITH POINT SHUTTLE SERVICE?Suffolk County Parks will provide free shuttle transportation between Smith Point campsites and the beach pavilion, starting in the third week of June.
The bus, a surplus vehicle donated by the Department of Public Works, was unveiled Wednesday by Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone and Parks Commissioner Philip A. Berdolt and others on the Stay Suffolk campaign, The campaign encourages people to enjoy the parks, beaches and many recreational opportunities right here in Suffolk County.
Remember, always swim near a lifeguard!
