BRYAN WOODHEAD NAMED SKYLINE CONFERENCE MEN’S SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

NEW YORK, NY (www.OLDWESTBURYPANTHERS.com) –The SUNY College at Old Westbury sophomore Bryan Woodhead was named Skyline Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Week, announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
Woodhead, a native of Port Jefferson, New York, paced Old Westbury to an 89-81 home win over the Brooklyn Bulldogs on January 11. Woodhead claimed a pair of first place finishes with season best times in the 50 freestyle (21.61) and 100 backstroke (55.49) events. Woodhead also teamed up with Kareem Bryan, Carl Nowicki and Michael Bayne to capture first place in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:43.80
