The Suffolk County Girl Scouts Holiday Light Show and Enchanted Forest kicks off this Saturday

SMITH POINT, NY — The Suffolk County Girl Scouts Holiday Light Show and Enchanted Forest kicks off this Saturday at Smith Point and Southaven county parks in Shirley.

The show will run until Dec. 30.

The 19th annual light show, which draws thousands of visitors each year, is a drive-through experience along a 1.5-mile trail with over 100 holiday-themed display. Officials decide to expand it this year with the addition of an Enchanted Forest just down William Floyd Parkway at Southaven park. The “forest” has a 200-foot walkway with holiday lights leading to a heated area for selfies with “Santa Claus” and one of his holiday friends.

All proceeds from the show will benefit Girl Scout programs and families across Long Island.

Light show tickets are $22 per car; $42 for minibusses and RVs; and $72 for coach and school buses. Enchanted Forest tickets are $10 per person online, $15 per person at the ticket booth. Tickets are not necessary for children under three.

Combination tickets are $40 per car and up to five forest tickets, then $100 per mini-bus and up to 15 forest tickets, and $150 per school bus and up to 40 forest tickets.
