Construction at Cupsogue to begin on Tuesday
Construction on the new pavilion at Cupsogue County Park is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. During this period, the park will remain open to the public; however, visitors should anticipate restricted access and reduced parking availability through the spring season as improvements progress.
Please be advised that lifeguard services will conclude at the close of Labor Day, Monday, September 1, 2025. Accordingly, swimming and related water activities undertaken after this date will be without supervision and at the individual’s own risk.
The outer beach and campground facilities will continue to operate until the official end of the season. Nevertheless, it is important to note that restroom and potable water services will not be provided during this time.
We thank patrons for their cooperation and understanding as Suffolk County undertakes these enhancements, which are intended to improve the park experience for all future visitors.
