2026 Smith Point Lifeguard Hall of Fame Presented to Jon Cuomo
Each year, we proudly recognize one outstanding Smith Point Lifeguard by inducting them into our Hall of Fame. This year’s inductee is one of the most versatile and accomplished competitors in our ranks. Jon’s success came in both individual and team events, making him one of the best all-around athletes to ever represent Smith Point. His achievements include:
- 2012 National Champion in the 2K Beach Run
- 2012 National Champion in the 4×100 Sprint Relay
- Eight-time Long Island Champion in the 2K Beach Run and 4×100 Sprint Relay
- Eleven-time National Finalist in the 2K Beach Run, 4×100 Sprint Relay, Beach Flags, and Landline events
- An elite high school and collegiate distance runner
His dedication, athletic ability, and commitment to excellence have earned him a well-deserved place in the Smith Point Lifeguard Hall of Fame. Congratulations Jon!
