Junior Lifeguards 2024, week # 4

In Week 4 of Junior Lifeguards, participants focused on water safety skills. Our juniors practiced teamwork through relay races and scenarios. The highlight of today at Smith Point, was beach flags competition. Beach Flags, or also known as musical chair competition, emphasizes reaction time and quick decision-making skills. Overall, it was a dynamic and educational week, preparing the juniors for real-life rescue situations for the future.

While on the beach, a humpback whale visited, breaching near the shore, delighting onlookers. Its amazing presence captivated everyone, showcasing the beauty of marine life and the importance of ocean conservation. It was an unforgettable encounter!
