Junior Lifeguards 2024, week # 2

The second week of junior lifeguards at Smith Point and Meschutt beaches was marked by excitement and engagement from all participants. Under the clear blue sky, the young lifeguards dove into a series of skill-building exercises designed to enhance their water safety and rescue abilities. The day began with a run, swim and a paddle showcasing their growing confidence and stamina.

At Smith Point, the participants practiced rescue drills, honing their ability to respond quickly and effectively to simulated emergencies. Meanwhile, at Meschutt Beach, the focus was on water safety. The juniors listened attentively to the instructors, understanding the critical importance of these lifesaving techniques and advice.
