Tropical Storm Isaias closes Smith Point, Cupsogue and Meschutt.

Due to Tropical Storm Isaias Suffolk County Beaches, Smith Point, Cupsogue and Meschutt, will be closed at 11 AM today, 8/4/20.

Isaias was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm overnight. Isaias is still expected to deliver wind gusts of up to 70 mph to Long Island.

The National Weather Service in New York has issued a tornado watch statewide. The watch issued because of conditions is in effect until 4 p.m.
