Lots of people have been asking lately, “Where is summer? It hasn’t been hot at all”…Well, buckle up because the blast furnace is about to get crankin’. It looks like things really heat up this Friday with the potential for a major heat wave across the mid Atlantic and into New England. As a major heat ridge builds in the eastern two thirds of the country, we could see prolonged excessive heat lasting well into July and August. (Numerical values depicted are a model run not an official forecast.)
